SOCIAL AWARENESS AND SELF DEFENCE PERFORMANCE BY GIRL STUDENTS

On the occasion of International Women’s Day, Pearson School, an educational institution, Kompally, Hyderabad, Telangana, Bharat, has conducted a social awareness Taekwondo self-defence skills event. In this event, 150 school girl students participated and performed 15 different types of Taekwondo movements, each movement 50 times within 50 minutes. This social cause event was held under the supervision of Dr. Asma Shaheda, Principal, staff of Pearson School, and trained by Mr. Mahesh Pola, Taekwondo Coach, on March 16, 2024, at school premises. This showcase of the power of the Girl Child event has been recognised by the Telugu Book of Records.
